Send a Child to School Program

 Children Needing Sponsors

Many children in rural Jamaica never have the opportunity to attend school.  Public school requires shoes, a uniform, books and supplies.  Money for lunch is also required.  Many families have to choose between sending their children to school and having food to eat.  Some never even get that chance.

You can make a real difference in the life of a Jamaican child by giving them the opportunity to attend school for one year. Your contribution of $250 (U.S.) will cover school expenses for one year to include a uniform, shoes, and school supplies. When you sponsor a child to attend school, you will receive their picture and school updates as available.

Many sponsors enjoy sending small items such as paper, pencils, hairbows, etc. on occasion throughout the year or corresponding with their sponored child; both are optional.

Children also need school lunches which average $200 per year, depending on the school. For some children, school lunches are the most regular meals they receive.

We hope you will consider sending a child to school and/or sponsoring their school lunches - it is a wonderful way to make a difference in the life of a child and provide an opportunity that they may not otherwise have. To contribute, please send a check or money order to the Glory Outreach Program, 220 S. Tanyard Rd., Cadiz, KY  42211.  To see pictures or information about individual children that are available for sponsorship please click here.  You may choose the child you want to sponsor or one may be chosen for you.

Thank you for sharing your blessings and providing hope to a child. You ARE making a difference!

"And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me."
Matthew 18:5
