AKELIA is age 14. She lives in a small, rural community in the mountains of  Jamaica. She lives with her grandparents. The family’s living situation is difficult as her grandparents are sick with no income. Akelia is in Grade 9 in high school. She wants to be a bank manager or a journalist when she grows up.  She loves church and attends every Sunday. She is shy until she gets to know you and then she loves to laugh and is a very social young lady. She enjoys going to school; she is inquisitive and loves to learn.

ALECIA is age 7. She lives with her father who is a single parent. She is one of 4 children. The family lives in Jamaica in a very small community on the side of a mountain. Alecia’s family has a difficult time financially and often lacks food and other basic necessities. The family’s home was severely damaged in a hurricane. Alecia is a playful young lady. She is looking forward to attending school this year. Her family is very grateful to Glory Outreach for sponsoring one of her older sister for school and 
is hopeful Alecia will also be sponsored.

ALLISON is 10 years old. She lives in a small mountain community in Jamaica with her grandparents and her uncle. The family has no income and farms to provide food for their family. The family is very closely knit, very faithful and active in their community. Allison attends primary school where she is in Grade 5. She wants to be a bank manager or a teacher when she grows up. She loves to read. She is a very friendly young lady, intelligent, and loves going to school.

ANDRE
is 14 years old. He lives in a very small, rural Jamaican community with his mother and father. Also in the home are his sister and 7 brothers. His father is sick, unable to work and restricted to his bed. His mother is also ill. The family has no income and find it very hard to survive. Without the help of Glory Outreach, the children would not be able to attend school. Andre is a brave young man with a good personality. He is often on his own due to the illness of his parents and all the children fend for themselves. Andre likes school and has goals for his future if he is able to continue to attend.


ANTHONY is age 17. He lives in a small community in the mountains of Jamaica with his sisters and his mother. His is sick and does not live with the family. His mother has no income and finds it difficult to provide for her children. Education is very important to her and she struggles to be able to keep her kids in school. She is very grateful for Glory Outreach sponsorship and has hopes that her children will be able to continue to stay in school. Anthony is in grade 11 and has one more year until he graduates. He is hopeful that he will be able to find a job and help support his family. He is a very social child and is very intelligent.

CAVEN’S nickname is “Irie.” He lives in a rural community in Jamaica. Irie is 17 years old and lives with his mother, several nieces and nephews and has several siblings. His father works in construction when possible and his mother farms on the mountain to help the family with income. Caven attends high school where he is in the 11th grade. He is somewhat shy but is very sharp and quick to learn. He likes school and has a lot of potential.

DAINEY is age 12. He lives with his mother and father. His grandmother and several siblings live in the home. The family is very poor and is trying to build a new residence but are unable to finish is due to lack of resources. They have no running water and often do without basic necessities. Dainey is in grade 5 in an all-age school. He is an active young man who likes to attend school and is hopeful to be sponsored for school this year.



DAMIEN is 13 years old. He lives with his mother, father and older brother. They struggle hard to survive as no jobs are available in their community and the family has no income. Damien is a brilliant young man who is easy to get along with. He enjoys school although he attends a school that is very far from his home and he has to take a taxi to school every day. There are no school buses in Jamaica and the family is responsible to pay taxi fare. Damien is hopeful that he will be able to attend school long enough to graduate.

DEHUGH, who goes by Kasin, is 17 years old. He lives with his mother and father in a rural community in Jamaica. He is the youngest of three children. His father has Lupus and other health complications. His mother is also sick. She is a teacher at the local basic school. Kasin is in Grade 11 in high school and will graduate this yeaar. He is a very intelligent young man, loves school, and is a good student. Kasin is out-going and loves to have fun.

DEMAR is age 8. He lives with his mother. His mother was widowed at a young age; his father died when he was 3. He has one older brother. The family has no home and no income but Glory Outreach has been able to insure that he is in school. His mother is very grateful for his sponsorship and finds it a blessing to her family. Demar is in grade 2.   He is small for his age and very playful. He is a bright child and fun-loving.

DEMETRI is age10. He lives with his mother who is a single parent, and two sisters. The family struggles to find enough to eat and to be able to afford to put the children in school. Demetri attends a small church in his community on a regular basis and enjoys Sunday School. He is in grade 5 and has to walk a very long way to school.

DOUG is 6 years old. He lives in a small, rural community on the side of a mountain. He lives with his mother and father and five brothers. Both of his parents try to do a little farming to provide for the family. They live in a small, one-room house with no kitchen or running water. Education is important to them and they are hoping Doug will be chosen for sponsorship through the program this year so he will have the opportunity to attend school. Doug will be in primary school this year if he is sponsored.

DWAYNE is 13 years old.   He lives with his mother, two brothers and a 3 year old sister. His father left the family when Dwayne was very young. He and his family do not have a home and live at the mercy of other people. It is a struggle for Dwayne’s mother to keep him in school. She is hopeful that Dwayne will be able to be sponsored this school year. Dwayne is a very willing child and very serious about his school work. He enjoys school and will   be enrolled in high school. 




KIMONE is 7 years old. She lives in a small community in Jamaica with both of his parents, one brother, sister and an infant nephew. Her parent work very hard to provide for their children but life is difficult in Jamaica and their needs are often not met. Kimone is hoping for Glory Outreach sponsorship so she can attend school this year. She is an intelligent child and will be attending primary school this year in grade 2.

GHABRIEL is age 6. She will be attending a basic school in Kingston for the first time this year. She has been moved from Basic school to grade 2, skipping a grade as she is very smart. She loves school and received several awards in Basic school last year. She lives with her mother and father. Education is very important to both of them and they are very grateful for the support of Glory Outreach.

HORACE
is 17 years old. He lives with his mother who is a single parent. He is the eldest of three boys. His mother has no income and it is very difficult for her to afford food and school supplies for her sons. Horace is a very polite, mannerly young man. He attends high school in Jamaica where he is in Grade 11. He loves school very much and is a very good student. He has to take two taxis to get to and from school and attends every day.

IVOR
is 18 years old. He lives in a very rural part of Jamaica in the mountains. He lives with his mother and two sisters and a brother. His mother tries to find odd jobs for income to try to support her family. His father is sick but does not live with the family. Ivor is very mannerly and obedient. He is a very willing, humble child who will be able to graduate from high school this year with the help of Glory Outreach.

JAMIE
is the oldest of four siblings at age 14. His father left the family many years and his mother had to move in with family to support her children. Although she has an education, she is unable to work due to lack of jobs. Education is paramount to her and she finds it difficult to provide school fees, uniforms and shoes for all of her children to attend school. Jamie is somewhat shy but looks after his younger siblings. The family has been able to keep Jamie in school due to the sponsorship of Glory Outreach.

JAVAIN
is 8 years old. He lives with his grandmother and father as his mother is sick and unable to live with the family. He has two brothers. His family has no home and is dependent upon others to survive. Javain will not be able to attend school without the help of Glory Outreach. If he is sponsored, he will be in grade 2 this year.   Javain is a happy, intelligent child despite often not having enough food to eat or clothes to wear.



JEROME
is age 12. He has a brother and two younger sisters. His father left the family many years and his mother had to move in with family to support her children. Although she has an education, she is unable to work due to lack of jobs. Education is paramount to her and she finds it difficult to provide school fees, uniforms and shoes for all of her children to attend school. Jerome has been able to attend school through the support of Glory Outreach, for which his family is grateful.

JESSEKA
is age 5. She is the youngest of 4 children. Her mother is a single parent and struggles to support her family. Although she has an education, she is unable to work due to lack of jobs. Education is paramount to her and she finds it difficult to provide school fees, uniforms and shoes for all of her children to attend school. Jesseka is in basic school and is a lively young lady.

JODENE is age 7. She is in grade 2 and attends primary school. She has one sister and two older brothers. Her mother is a single parent; her father left the family and her mother had to move in with family to support her children. JOVAN
is 11 years old. He lives in a rural Jamaican community.  He lives with his mother and step-father and brother. The family has very poor living conditions with no amenities or running water. Jovan attends primary school where he is in Grade 6. He is a very curious young man who loves to attend school and is hopeful to be able to return to school again this year.





JUDIAN is age 7. She lives with both parents and two siblings in a small community in Jamaica. Her parents are in a very bad living situation and the children often do without the basic necessities, including food. Although education is important to her parents, Judian may not be able to attend school this year without the help of Glory Outreach. Judian is a shy little girl but shows a lot of promise.

Junior is age 4.  He lives in the mountains in Jamaica with his parents and two siblings.  The family lives in one small room with no income and no way to provide for the family.  They would like to work but are unable to find jobs due to the economy.  They have little to eat, no running water and life is very difficult for them as they must struggle to survive.   They are a Christian family who attend church regularly and they are very close.  This is supposed to be Junior's first year in Basic School and they are hoping he will be sponsored as education is very important to them.

KEMAR is age 12. He lives with his grandmother. His parents are not involved in his life and his grandmother is sick, with no income. Kemar attends primary school where he will be in Grade 7 this year. He has been able to continue to attend school through the sponsorship of Glory Outreach.   He is a very nice young man, mannerly and humble. He is a quiet child. He likes school very much and goes every day.  He wants to be a mechanical engineer when he grows up.

KEMAR
is 15 years old. He
livesin a small community in Jamaica. He lives with his mother and father and is one of 5 children. The family lives in very poor conditions on the side of a mountain and has no income. They farm what food they can to eat but are often hungry. Kemar is in Grade 10 in high school this year. He is a willing child and loves to attend school. He was not able to attend school on a regular basis until being sponsored by Glory Outreach.

KEMESHA is 16 years old. She lives in a small Jamaican community with her parents who are farmers. She is the youngest of 6 children and comes from a very loving family. Kemesha is in Grade 11 in high school; she will graduate this year. She is very bright, funny, happy and out-going. She loves to learn and school is very important to her as she has goals for her future.

KEMILY is 15 years old. She lives in a small community in Jamaica. She lives with her aunt as her mother cannot manage to care for her. They have a large family with many children and extended family living in the same home. The family has no income. Kemily is in Grade 10 in high school. She is a happy child who loves to tell jokes and make people laugh. Despite her situation, she is determined to attend school regularly and loves to learn.

KHILE is 12 years old. He lives with his parents and there are 7 members in the family. The family farms on the side of the local mountain in his rural Jamaican community as they are able but they live in poverty in very poor living conditions. They have not been able to keep their children in school on a regular basis.  

Khile is a very bright young man who likes to learn. He is very helpful and a hard worker for such a young age. He is also very polite. Khile attends primary school where he is in Grade 6.

LEIGHTON is 17 years old. He lives with his mother and father, two sisters and one brother in Jamaica. He is the youngest child. Leighton attends high school in grade 9. Leighton enjoys school and his favorite subject is math. He likes to play cricket and plans to play on the school team this year. He is an intelligent young man and very mannerly. Leighton wants to be in the Army when he grows up.

LOVERN is 14 years old. She lives with her father and mother and several siblings. Her family is hard working and believe education is very important. Both of her parents are often sick and find it hard to provide for their family. Lovern will be in grade 9 this year. She is a very humble young lady and both she and her family are very grateful for her sponsorship through Glory Outreach.
 
MARKLAND’s nickname is Shemar.  Shemar is 12 years old. He is the middle child of three children and his family lives in a small mountain community in Jamaica. Shemar was born with a hole in his heart and it is difficult for him to stay healthy. His family has to make arrangements for him to go to Kingston on a regular basis for medical treatment. He often has to be hospitalized which is a severe financial hardship on the family. His father is a farmer and mechanic and it is difficult for the family to afford to send Shemar to school. Shemar is in Grade 6 in primary school. He likes to learn and loves to attend school. He is interested in fixing things and is very inquisitive.

Marvin is age 8.  He lives in a very rural part of Jamaica in the mountains with his mother, father and two siblings.  They live in one small room with no income and no way to provide for the family.  The lack of jobs has prevented them from working.  They have little to eat, no running water and no basic amenities.  The children have not been in school since last year due to lack of finances; however, education is very important to them.  They are a Christian family and very closely knit.  Marvin should be entering grade 3 but will need a sponsor to be able to attend school.

MAURICE
is age 8. He lives with his mother and father in a rural community in Jamaica. He is one of seven children. His parents farm on the side of the mountain where they live to try to provide for the family. It is difficult for them to have enough food to eat. Maurice                             
is in Grade 3 and attends primary school. He loves to play and have adventures and likes the other children at school.   
 

MONIQUE is age 16. She resides in a small community in Jamaica. She lives with her grandparents in a very large family. They have a difficult time making a living. Monique attends high school where she is in Grade 11. She is very intelligent, a quick learner and she loves to attend school.

NADRA is 15 years old. She lives in a small Jamaican mountain community. She lives with her mother and father and is one of five children. The family farms a small bit to try to support themselves but it is very difficult for them to provide enough food as well as an education for their children. Nadra attends high school where she is in Grade 10. She has to take three different taxis to school and back due to the distance. Nadra is a very good student and enjoys school. Math is her favorite subject. She wants to be a teacher when she grows up. She is a bright and bubbly young lady.

NATALJIAH, also known as Teresa, is 7 years old. She lives in a small community in the heart of Jamaica. She is the eldest of two children. Teresa’s father died tragically this year and it is very hard for her mother to be able to afford to send her and her brother to school.
Teresa attends a primary school where she is in Grade 2. Teresa can be shy but once she knows you she has a smile for you as big as the outdoors. She is very intelligent and is reading 2 grade levels ahead of her class.   She is eager to learn and loves to read and likes to help her brother with his school work.

NELSON
is 15 years old. He lives with his mother in a very small community in Jamaica. He has two brothers and one sister. Nelson’s mother is a single parent and has a difficult time providing for her children. She does a little farming to try to feed her family. Nelson is in Grade 9 in high school. He is a very likeable young man who is very intelligent. He is a determined person who loves to learn and wants to finish school.

NICOLE J. is 8 years old. She lives in the middle of Jamaica in a small community. She lives with her grandmother as her mother is dead. Her grandmother is sickly and it is difficult for her to provide for Nicole. Nicole is cute little girl who loves to attend school. She is in primary school – grade 2. Her grandmother is very appreciative of the help she has received from Glory Outreach as it has made a difference in Nicole’s life.

NICOLE A. is age 12. She lives in a small home with no running water with her mother, father and 5 siblings. Her parents farm and sell food at the market when they can to feed their family. This will be Nicole’s first year in high school; she is in grade 7. She is a very jovial young person who loves to have fun. She has a great sense of humor. She is a kind child who is helpful to her family and others. 

NICOLE
S. is 14 years old. She lives in the mountains of central Jamaica with her mother and is the eldest of 5 children. The family has no form of income and lives in extremely poor conditions.   It is often difficult for them to find enough food to eat. Nicole is in Grade 8  this year. The support of Glory Outreach is the only way that Nicole and her siblings will be able to attend school.

NICHOLET is 11 years old. She lives in a mountainous community in the middle of Jamaica. She lives with her mother and is one of 5 children. The family lives in very poor conditions and it is often difficult for them to find enough food to feed their family. Nicolette is a very sweet child who loves to go to school. She wants to be a teacher when she grows up.  She is in Grade 6 and sponsorship through Glory Outreach is her only hope to continue to attend school.

NIGEL is 15 years old. He lives in a poor community in Jamaica. His father is a pastor. Church is very important to the family and his mother teaches Sunday School. The family is very active in their community and other families look up to them. They have three children and education is also very important to them. Nigel attends a junior high school and is a good student. He is in the 9th grade.

ORLANDO is age 12. He lives with his parents and several siblings. Both of his parents are sickly and are unable to work. Orlando lives in a small community that is in central Jamaica. Life is very difficult and Orlando and his siblings often do without food, clothing and water. The family attends church regularly and school is very important to them. 
 
Orolando is a fun-loving child with a good sense of humor. He enjoys going to school and has a good sense of humore. He and his family are hoping that he will be able to be sponsored by Glory Outreach this school year.
 
OSHANE is 15 years old. He lives with his parents and several siblings in a community on the side of a mountain in Jamaica. His parents try to farm to make what money they can but the family often has to do without meals and food on many occasions.   School is very important to the family and Oshane and his siblings would not be able to attend without the support of Glory Outreach. Oshane is in grade 10 and is hoping to graduate next year.
 


OTAVIA
is 11 years old. She lives with both of her parents who struggle daily to provide for Oteir and her several siblings. Oteir’s parents work very hard to be able to send their children to school, but without employment, it is very difficult. The family struggles not only to educate their children but often to eat. Oteir is in grade 5 and although she has to walk a long way to get to school, she very much enjoys learning.

PETER GAY is age 14. She lives with her father who is a single parent. She is one of 4 children. The family lives in a very small community on the side of a mountain. Peter Gay’s father has a difficult time providing for his family due to lack of food and employment. The family’s home was damaged in a hurricane. Peter Gay is an intelligent young lady who loves to attend school. She enjoys high school and is hopeful she will be sponsored so she can continue to attend this year.

PHILLIP is 11 years old. He lives with his mother and two brothers. They have no home and are dependent upon strangers to allow them a place to stay. The family has no income and finds it difficult to find food to eat and provide for themselves. Phillip’s mother would like to work but jobs are unavailable in her community. Phillip is in Grade 6 in primary school. He would not be able to attend school without the help of Glory Outreach. Phillip is a very outgoing young man. He likes school and is very helpful and willing.

RAVAINE is 11 years old. He comes from a big family and lives with his parents and 8 siblings in a small mountain community in Jamaica. His father works at construction when work is available. Keeping the children in school is a financial hardship. Ravaine will be in Grade 5.   Ravaine is a humorous little boy who loves to play and have fun. He is also very intelligent and likes to go to school.

ROMAINE
is age 15. He lives with his mother and 6 siblings in a little Jamaican community. His mother has no form of income an it is very difficult to provide for her family. They are often hungry and want for food. Romaine has been fortunate to have been sponsored for school for several years through Glory Outreach and is hopeful he will be able to finish school. He is in grade10.




RUSHANE is 12 years old. He lives in the central part of Jamaica. He lives with his mother and grandmother. He is the eldest of four children. His grandmother is crippled and very sick. She cannot move without help. The family has no income. Rushane is in Grade 7. He is an active young man who loves school. He wants to be a meteorologist when he grows up.  He is very smart and his family is very grateful for the opportunity for him to receive an education.

ROUCHELLE is 10 years old. She lives in a small Jamaican community with her mother, grandmother and several other siblings. The family has no income and life is extremely difficult for them. Food, clothes and school fees are very hard to obtain. Rushel is in Grade 5 in primary school, the equivalent of elementary school in the United States. She can be shy but warms up to people quickly. She loves to play and is always happy. She also loves to go to school and is a good student.

SAMEKA is 16 years old and lives in a small community in Jamaica. She attends high school in the 11th grade and wants to become a nurse. She is very bright, likes to learn and loves attending school. Sameka lives with 5 family members. Her grandmother is the head of the household and is very sick with no income. This is Sameka’s sixth year of sponsorship in the Glory Outreach Program.

SARON
is 15 years old. She is an orphan and lives with her grandmother in a small community in Jamaica. Her grandmother is a widow with no income. There are also several other extended family members living in the household. Life is extremely difficult for them. Saron is in Grade 10 in high school. She can be somewhat shy but loves school and is a very dedicated student. She loves to read and wants to be a teacher when she grows up. 

SECHINA is 7 years old. She is the youngest child in her family and has two older brothers. Her mother and father work hard to support their family but it is very difficult to be able to afford to send their children to school. The family is very active in church and Sechina likes to attend both Sunday School and primary school. Sechina very much enjoyed basic school last year. Education is important to her family and they are hoping Sechina will be able to attend school this year.

SHADEEN is age 15. She lives with her father; her mother is dead. She is one of 5 children. Her father tries hard to be both mother and father. He works to provide for his family when work is available. Shadene is in grade 10 and is hopeful that she will be able to afford to finish school. She is a very friendly young lady and willing to help others.

SHANELL is 10 years old.  Shanell lives with her parents and many siblings. The family is desperately poor and often go hungry and sick. The children are not able to attend school without the help of Glory Outreach.  Shanell's family appreciates the opportunity for her to attend school.  She likes to learn and is in grade 5.

SHANNALEE is age 10.   She lives with her parents in a rural community in Jamaica. She has one sister and one brother. Her parents try very hard to provide for thefamily but have no income. The children often have to do without basis necessities. The family is hoping that Shannalee will be sponsored for school this year so she can continue her education. Shannalee is in grade 5 and loves to attend school where she is a very good student.

SHYON
is age 16. He lives with his grandmother in a very poor community. His grandmother is sickly and has a difficult time providing the basis necessities for Shyon. The family goes to church regularly and are very faithful. They are hopeful that Shyon will be sponsored this year for school. He is in grade 10.

SIMEON is 12 years old. He lives with his mother and grandmother in a rural mountain community in Jamaica. He has a baby brother. The family lives in very poor conditions in a one-room house. They have no form of income and often go hungry. Simeon is a very bright young man, brave and loves to go to school.

SONJAY C. is age 7. His mother has disappeared from the family and he is being raised by his aunt. He has one sister that lives in the home and several brothers that live with other people. Sonjay is in Grade 2 in primary school. He is a friendly little boy that deserves the opportunity to attend school.

TAMARA
is age 14. She lives in a small home with no running water with her mother, father and 5 siblings. Her parents farm and sell food at the market when they can to feed their family. 
Tamara attends High School where she is in the 9th grade. She is a good student and loves school. She loves to laugh and has a good sense of humor.




SONJAY is 7 years old. He lives with his mother and father, one younger and five older brothers. His family works in the fields to attempt to have something to eat but they struggle daily. They want their children to have an education but paying for school for each of them is nearly impossible for them. This will be Sonjay’s first year in primary school if he is fortunate enough to be sponsored.

is age 14. She is one of 6 children and her mother is a single parent. Her mother farms to help provide the family with food.   Education is very important to Tameka and her family. Tameka would like the chance to attend college one day as her older sister has. She is currently in grade 9. Glory Outreach has helped Tameka’s siblings attend school in the past and she is hoping to be sponsored this year. 



TANIEL
is 11 years old. Her nickname is Briana.  Briana lives with her mother and one brother. The family is very poor and Briana’s mother struggles to provide for her children. She tries very hard to survive and education is very important to her. Taniel is in the 5th grade. She enjoys attending school and is hoping to be sponsored so she can continue.

TASSIANA is age 12. Her mother has disappeared from the family and she is being raised by her aunt. The family lives in a very rural area of Jamaica. She has several brothers but they do not live with her.  Tassiana is in Grade 6 in primary school. She is somewhat shy but can be a very friendly girl when she gets to know you. Tassiana wants to be a bank manager, teacher or pastor when she grows up.  She is smart, learns quickly and is hopeful that she will be sponsored this year.

TERRICK
is 4 years old.  He lives with his mother and older sister in Silent Hill, Jamaica. His mother was widowed this year and has no income. She is a wonderful person who loves the Lord and goes to church every chance she can. Her children’s faith is very important to her and she makes sure she teaches them about the goodness of God. This will be Terrick’s first year in school. Terrick is a bit shy but very bright. His older sister loves to learn and is well beyond grade level. She is helping to teach her brother to read.

WENESE is 16 years old. She lives with her two brothers and a sister at her grandmother’s house in a rural part of Jamaica. Her mother travels to Kingston to work and can only visit the family every few weeks. Even though her mother is able to work, her job pays very little and the family has a difficult time providing for food for the family as well as money to keep the children in school. Wenese is somewhat shy but has worked hard to stay in school and tries to attend every day. She has one more year until she graduates. School is very important to her and her family.
