Dear Mrs. Powell,
This is to formally thank you for your generous assistance in my school welfare. Without your help, I don’t know what life would have been like. I want to encourage you to continue help the poor and needy. Your reward is in heaven. Many young people are dying to be in my position. I am very happy to know that you choose to help me. Thank you very much and may God bless you a million as you endeavor to help the needy. Thank you.

Dear Sir/Madame,
I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation for all the ways in which your program has helped my child. Through this program, my child has been enabled to go to school with the tools necessary for learning. If each needy family in Jamaica would be able to receive such a help then all the needy children would be able to go to school. What a burden you would have taken off the shoulders of those parents! My daughter’s ambition is to become a teacher and with your help, she will be able to achieve her goal. May God continue to open the windows of heaven and pour down his blessings on your program so that you will be able to help many more children. Thank you very very much for what you have done. You have brought joy, happiness and peace of mind in our home.
                                                                        Yours truly,
                                                                                  Carla (mother)

Dear Mrs. Powell,
How are you?   I hope that you are well and o.k. I am writing you this letter to tell you that the program is very useful to me because I didn’t have any shoes to wear to school on Monday. I want to thank you for what you have done for all of us. If it wasn’t for you, I would have to wear my slippers to school. Many more are out there wondering for someone to buy things that they might need but no-one is there. I hope that one day you might find them and help out their situation. Here I say thank you again and when I grow up I want to be an independent lady like you. You are a mother to me.
                                                                                                            Yours truly

What is the Glory Outreach Development program? The Glory Outreach Development program is a project which helps the less fortunate to develop a sense of courage and pride in the little community of Silent Hill in Jamaica. It helps who are in need of school funds to further our education, we thank all the people who joined hands together to make it possible and a success.
How has this program helped me?
This program has helped me to be more aware of the situations around us in our community. It has also helps me to be more aware of the challenges we face in life’s long journey, especially if you are a parent, sending your young teenagers to school. It has motivated me to work hard to achieve my goal in the future. It has also helped me to pay the necessary funds needed to attend high school with the help of God.
Where would I like to see the program in the future?
In the future I would like to see the program developing into a worldwide organization which helps persons rather less fortunate. I hope it will gain success in the future, and make all possible dreams prayed for, be a reality, and a blessing to the the one and only God. I hope God will bless each and every person who participated in the fund raising exercise, which helps in the development of young people and old people in the community of Silent Hill, Jamaica. I take great pleasure in writing such an inspirational essay for you all to hear. I hope it will be a blessing to your hands.
